Pre-Kindergarten
Lancaster ISD offers full-day Pre-kindergarten for students who are age 4 on or before September 1 of the current school year (2010-2011). Belt Line, Houston, and Lancaster Elementary campuses offer a 4 year old Head Start Pre-K program. Enrollment will be August 2 (8 a.m. – 5 p.m., closed 12 – 1 for lunch) and 3 (1 – 8 p.m.) at the Teaching and Learning Center, 1201 N. Dallas Ave. Students may also be enrolled during general enrollment on the campuses beginning August 9 from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. Please bring your child's social security card, birth certificate, shot records, along with a valid Texas Driver's license and a utility bill as proof of residency(gas, water, or electric).

General Enrollment
Elementary students (grades PreK – 5) who are new to the district may begin enrolling on August 9 from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the neighborhood campuses. Secondary students (grades 6 – 12) may also begin enrolling that same day from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. In addition, there will be two evening enrollments for all grades on August 17 and 19 from 5 – 8 p.m.

Immunizations
Care Van will be at the Teaching and Learning Center on August 3 from 1 – 3 p.m. providing free immunizations for VFC eligible students.
