Lancaster ISD Technology Vision Statement:
The Lancaster Independent School District (LISD) recognizes the increasing need to understand the value of technology, information literacy, and communication and competing in a rapidly changing global community. By integrating technology into a well-balanced Pre-Kindergarten through twelfth grade instructional program, LISD will provide students with the opportunity to develop lifelong learning skills. Technology will be used as a tool to support instructional goals as set forth by LISD Board of Trustees, administration, and staff. By using technology as a tool, teachers, administrators, and support staff will become more efficient and effective in enhancing the learning environment.

Students, parents, and educators will utilize information and communication technology to transform teaching and learning to meet the demands of the 21st Century. This transformation will enhance and expand the traditional role of education through the implementation of evolving technology so learners can excel and be competitive in the global market. To achieve our vision, LISD will enlist the active engagement of our community and offer the technological resources of the school.
Lancaster ISD Technology Mission Statement:
The Lancaster Independent School District will integrate technology to ensure that students develop lifelong learning skills necessary to be productive citizens in an information-driven, globally competitive community. In achieving our vision, the mission of technology in LISD is for each student to meet or exceed National, State, and Local standards.
Instructional Technology Department Goals
The Instructional Technology Staff are dedicated to providing quality service and support to the students and staff of Lancaster ISD. It is our goal to be proactive in acquiring effective resources and provide productive training to improve the utilization and integration of technology. Our goal is to equip the LISD staff to ensure the successful implementation of the District's mission of providing every student a quality education in a safe environment.
