Welcome to our website! I encourage you to explore all of our newly updated and expanded web site so you can learn about the wonderful students, staff, parents and programs at Elsie Robertson Lancaster Middle School (LMS).
LMS aspires to be a safe, fun and academically challenging school that stresses academic rigor in our instruction and course work. Our students are not only expected to excel academically, but also learn about respect, ethical values, and social skills, which we consider to be equally important. We strive to create an environment where students feel safe, comfortable, and respected.
We of course cannot be successful without the important partnership with you - our parents. We encourage you to visit with your child’s teachers regularly and stay abreast of their academic progress. Our Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) is also very active and provides many opportunities for parental involvement - a key ingredient to the success of any school. We invite you to contact our school by phone or simply stop by to learn more about opportunities to volunteer and work with our PTA.
Please be sure to check out our parent handbook that is on this web site as well. This will be a guide to explain most of the school procedures and expectations for our students and how we can work together to help them succeed.
